We started Flent because we were fed up. Trying to find a decent place in the city was a nightmare. But beyond the frustration was a deep-seated passion for home decor and an eye for detail that we couldn't ignore. Numbers revealed that ~$10 Bn is spent annually on urban renting — and that was the tipping point. It convinced us of the potential to craft the future of renting, designed for those who demand more and compromise less.

Flent is backed by top-tier VCs and angels. Since our inception in Jan’24, we’ve launched 110+ homes in Bangalore, went viral on X more than we imagined, and crossed $1,000,000 in annual GMV.

Hey — I’m Shail, co-founder & CEO at Flent 👋🏼

Along with the 100 other things on my plate as a founder, I also lead our brand efforts — and honestly, it’s the most energizing part of my job.

I think of brand as perception. It’s what people feel when they hear about you, use your product, or interact with your team. And the brand team gets to shape that perception intentionally through four things :

That’s why brand, for me, isn’t a vertical function — it cuts across product, CX, sales, ops, and even tech. If you’re joining this team, you’ll definitely work on top-of-funnel things — the kind that create awareness and build recall. But just as importantly, you’ll act as a visual quality filter for everything Flent puts out into the world. From the social media creatives we push out, to the decks we send out, to the way we announce launches — I’ll lean on you to make sure every single touchpoint reflects the perception we want to create.
